

13. Training Seminar on Interactive Methodologies
based in Didactic Games for promoting sexual health
in the classroom and the community. This
Seminar was tought to 240 health and education
professionals. The aim of this course was to train
these professionals in order to be able to create
and use a participatory and dialogic methodology
based in the creative and planned use of didactic
games and focused in sexuality and reproductive
health, gender equity, unwanted pregnancy prevention
and the prevention of HIV-AIDS and other STD,
2003 – 2004.
14. National Training Course for School
Teachers on sexual and reproductive health.
Over seven hundred teachers were trained and an
online site was created for support and technical
assistance of the teachers www.inlatina.org
(Atrevete a preguntar), 2004.

17. Water Culture Program: Project Initiative
for De la Plata River. Eighty adolescents
participated in Workshops on the environmental
situation of the river and its surroundings. Four
projects of environmental improvements in the
river area were carried out. Thirty secondary
school teachers from Uruguay and Argentina were
trained to work in environmental sciences in High
School. Creation and validation of the didactic
game “A Shared River”, FREPLATA, 2004.
18. Project “Move for the environment”,
selected in the World Bank’s regional contest
of small grants. It focused in the strengthening
of adolescent participation in environmental topics.
Sixty adolescents were trained in workshops and
they carried out four initiatives of environment
improvement. Punta de Rieles, Montevideo, 2004.
19. Project: “Armá tu Historia
Compartiéndola”, an interactive
comics for the prevention of HIV-AIDS with adolescents.
Project of prevention carried out in primary and
secondary schools with teenagers from 11 to 15.
The project included the publication of a comic
book created for teachers to work this topics
in class with adolescents. UNESCO, ONUSIDA, LEVI
STRAUSS Foundation, 2003.

and health promotion with primary school children.
Edition of environmental sensitization materials,
CONICYT contest, 2001-2002.
21. Project Young Sexuality: you decide!
Promotion of sexual health and prevention of HIV-AIDS.
Training of young people and adults as community
agents and multipliers. Organization of community
high impact activities covered by mass media.
Supported by city council, 2001.
22. Water Project. Addressed
to primary school children. It consisted of workshops
and the elaboration and validation of a didactic
game for teacher use in school. Supported by IDRC.
2000-2001
23. Coordination of the Programs of community
organization and training about environmental
topics. This Program was aimed at children,
adolescents, young people and teachers from all
over the country. It included sensitization workshops,
organization and follow up of environment improvement
activities, recreation activities and the preparation
and edition of didactic materials. More than 700
adolescents and young people participated in the
activities. Supported by Americas Fund, 1997-2000.
